  7. Marc & I have been talking, and we're not so sure this Hairy Baller smack talk is coming from soft spoken Paul. In fact, we're pretty sure its born from the pot stiring evil minded giraffe, aka Jeffrey Poopenflinger, aaand, its his weak sister attempt at steering The Childs angst off the Okie Doker and onto the Dairy Swallererer! What say you Paul, we wanna hear it from the horses ass.., oh wait, sorry that's Jephwry, uh, we wanna hear it from the horse powered south, oh wait, that us, the horses mouth.., you!?

You guys should be glad that my big wad of cash is going into building a garage and not one of my cars.
There is no telling what kind of reign of terror I could put on some of you.

On another note I do have a new car coming to the stables that will be a lot lighter package than Shamu.
    How about a 63 Valiant.

You could be a veeeery dangerous man if you had a fat bank account backing up your ability to squeeze power out of just about anything that's internal combustion powered.
It scares me to think what you'd be able to do with aftermarket heads, big solid roller cams, stroker cranks, and the like.

You need to write a book on supertuning the shit outta whatever you have on hand to work with.Youve got some serious skills there James:)

  10. Sell all that stuff, and buy our 62 Dodge Dart Super Stocker., you could also run it as AFX, or a Gasser. Has a brand new NHRA legal 2 x 4bbl "330" HP/383 that'll make 600-625HP. New Strange Dana 60 with 5.57's, lots of neat stuff with the car. PM me if you or any one else is interested.

Scott thanks for the compliments. I bet if I had some good stuff I would probably scatter it all over the track.

Ric trust me I have everthing for sale. Been trying for years to get the money together to build a garage at home so when I get up in the mornings I can go to work in my PJs if I want to. And if someone shows up with a car with check engine light I may be going to jail for assault.
Buy the way how much did you want for your car? never mind I didn't say that I am trying to build a garage.

Bender that sounds like a challenge.

    Marc,
I have been a little light on the replies lately, and I completely deleted a pretty scathing one about a week ago,in the interest of not getting the thread shut down and having the whole place turn into some kind of verbal Baltimore riot, because I know at Ryan has the balls to not give anyone "Room to Destroy"...lol

I am severely hindered by sleep deprivation,as I have been working nights for something like 83 days as of today, and I am completely numb.

As soon as I get a couple decent nights of sleep in,I guarantee you Brother,I will do my part in restoring the former glory to this thread...lol

We just need to stay on topic with the Meltdown, and not hear anymore fairy tails about how all Hemis make 9300hp,and run on unicorn piss, and Top Fuel this and Funnycar that and blah blah blah......;)

Let's see lots more photographic evidence of where everyone's projects stand at this very moment,in preparation for the Meltdown!

Art:The Grape is always one of the most photogenic Meltdown rides, shoot us a couple more photos to get us rolling!

Salty:Let's see some more of that mean Ol Mr 409 that's got us all worried!

Zettle Bros:We haven't seen much in the way of Indian Power lately....time for you guys to wave the flag for Pontiac, and post up some pics of that gorgeous ride of yours, and any mods/repairs/improvements y'all have been up to!

Ric:I know you're busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs right now,but let's see some pics of that new bullet for the Child, and how the old Girl is looking these days.Did you get that Dana housing back in under her rump?

Redline:I know you're out there cause I see you on facebook all the damn time posting funny videos of kitty's and shit.lol!
Where the hell are the updates on the "Sinister Stude"?
I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU TO POST SOME PICS!:D
Actually, some video of te Stude would be more fun (you know the one I'm talking about!)

Jeff & Joe:Hook us up with some more photographic gold of those amazing cars you guys are building!

There are literally dozens more guys I want to call out to get posting on here, but I am slipping back into my near-comatose state....Gotta get some more sleep to go in swinging for night 83.

LETS GO GUYS!GET POSTING AND GET THIS THREAD CRANKED UP AND RUNNING LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!:D

    I know,I know....big talk for a 289,right?

Well I have a confession to make:

    It's actually 331ci,which,if Jeff's 327 is bored .030" over,would put it at....wait for it.....331ci!

Should make for a pretty exciting Match Race between the Okie Doker and the Lakeshore Shaker, don't Ya think fellas?:)

So with new lightweight Pistons...a new cam(the right size) and new valve springs...does this mean your actually going to spin this one like it's meant to be.[emoji16]

Maybe I will ask Ric what it should be spun to...and hide a go pro in there to see if you do.

    Scott,
Not much has changed on the GTO. Steve got it out for the first time this year last Sat. New cop in town that's been trying to make a name for himself since he got on the Dept. last fall. New thing to do is pull people over for loud exhaust. Had the car for over 10 years now and have never got a ticket in it. Not going to start now. He did have to drive slow by the shop a couple times to show his authority. Oh well. Going to start to make the final assault on the Falcon to get it in top shape for this years Meltdown. Got to get the paint gun going!!!!!!!!

I thought you guys sold the Falcon? Its going to be good to see it go down the track too.
I've been lucky so far with the Heat and the Shaker.I think the new and improved motor will draw a little more attention from them this year though....lol

Optimism is fading, but we haven’t thrown in the towel yet. The driveline is complete, roll bar is done and we’ve started the body work. Might need to sell a kidney.

    Tribute car....this is the plan.
    tokrose.jpg
The current drivetrain is an old 275hp 327 stocker motor that made 410hp on a “friendly” dyno and went mid 11’s in a well prepared G/Automatic 66 nova….if it goes 12’s in the delivery, we’ll be pleased. Powerglide, 8” converter and 5.13’s in an Olds rear.
