Hopefully drive it more than I did in 2012 !!! Only put on about 600 miles - 3 fill-ups. Never spend so little on gas for a year !!!

On the '36, put the shortened rear bumper brackets on, get rear springs rearched so I can get rid of the air shocks.

On the '50 F1, get it running and driving (hopefully by mid-Sept so I can take it to family reunion to show my uncle).

Also, to drive the '36 more instead of letting it sit so much.

  4. I'd like to see it in my driveway this year.... Been three months nearly and still in the USA. :(
I guess I will be registering it and driving the crap out of the old girl, joining a car club and having some fun.

New tires on 16" rims on my T for the spring/summer driving season
Finish the metal tailgate that will fold with a padded inner panel to sit on at shows!
    Sell my '50 Ford
Buy a house with a 2 stall Garage
Move/Sell my last three cars in ND (new projects maybe!)
Make it to as many shows as possible in the T
Prepare for a Tall T coupe/Sedan body swap with frame tweaks and an engine rebuild starting the fall of 2013.

I like to aim high and see how much can get done instead of setting low expectations!

    get started on it, hopefully.

we should be moving to much bigger digs mid year. that will come with a 2 or 3 car garage which beats my current 1960's era skinny 1 car garage, where the beast is resting right now.

I'm just hoping to find the enthusiasm to get back out to the shop and actually work on it again. I've spent the last 8 months helping my wife as we deal with her illness and haven't spent any time on the Essex.

    My story also.

Since the engine fire back in March of 2012 ... I have not worked on the roadster 10 hours TOTAL ( in 9 months time  ). I need to get the 32 roadster going again. Since getting my 32 3W going in 2007, I have driven the 32 roadster less than 500 miles total. It is just easier to take the 3W coupe. Hot or Cold, rain or whatever, the 3W is a more user friendly vehicle.

BUT ... nothing beats a warm summer night cruising a back road somewhere in a 32 Ford roadster.

Finally some real paint, continue to see how fast the old motor will push the old thing. (gone from 13.60's to 11.70's. With the same long block.) Build the new 464 in. motor to replace the old 430 I'll probably scatter doing this nonsense. Hit more of the nostalgia races. The last 2 yrs. have been a lot of fun.

Finally putting it back together after 3 years of searching for vintage parts. God willing and the creeks don't rise I'll be back putting around this coming summer. Then start on the coupster build.

  29. The last time I drove my '54 was to the Pile Up in 2005. When I got back, I tore it down for some much needed updating; disc brakes, T-5 trans, etc. In the last 7 1/2 years, I got married, had a daughter, bought a house, got divorced, changed jobs... What can I say, sometimes life happens. I spent last winter doing a ground up on my '74 Ironhead. Now that the bike is done, it's time to tear back into the car and get it finished so my daughter can grow up with the memories of riding in an old car. Still need to finish up the body work, get it in paint and stitch up the interior. I WILL drive it again this year.

Finish headliner and floor in my '54 pickup. Whole lot on the '55 Deville. Had a lot of custom ideas, but when I got it I changed my mind. Want to keep it as simple as possible, like hideaway lincence plate, definitely keep the gas door in the taillight, shave door handles, lower it just a bit. Few other things here and there.
