Well my project is a large pile of parts, assembly required. My goal is to get the kick up on the frame finished and get to a rolling chassis by the end of the year. That would include engine and trans mounted. More than likely that's a pipe dream but it's a good smoke. This all depends on the CFO in the household and how much "overtime" I'll have to put in to get the funds. We'll see.

Install a few things Santa got for me: the Detroit Truetrac, SW Wings tach, B&M trans cooler.

Figure out suspension mods which I suspect will make it handle better, so basically I think this will be different lighter springs. Hopefully I can drop the rear ride height a bit, too.

After reading the "Art of Headlight location" thread here I have to improve mine.

I also plan to put a different motor in it (now a ZZ4) since I have a deep compelling need for more than 500 hp and it would be nice if the motor also weighted less, like with aluminum block & heads.

Oh yeah, got Jamco suspension for the rear of my 52 customline to replace my tired original stock crap and blocks. Wish me luck with Jamco! ImageUploadedByTJJ1357175642.559180.jpg

First priority is to cruise down to Puyallup with the Larson family.
Bill and i are taking our fresh cars for the first time. Both our cars were finished in 2012.
Last year we had to go in our Ranger pick ups for different reasons.

  8. Fixing the trans so I can try to break it again at the 2013 Meltdown Drags...

Just put a new AC in it. New 11" rotors and big brakes for the trip to LARS in June.

Changing from a single 4bbl to three duces, different camshaft, rewiring with cloth covered wire. And hopefully moving the fuel tank from under the seat to under the bed.

  17. Plan to install fresh 351W with aluminum heads, 700R4 using adapter plate, and a set of 3.80's in the rear. Have to modify the center crossmember area to do this, and then I'll do some general cleanup in the interior(wiring, sound deadener, upholstery)
    Plan to start next week.

Seriously clean up the engine bay.
Fix all 4 windows so they actually roll up and down again.
    New tires.

Drive the hell out of it.
