My son and I are putting in flipped drag link steering arms on the 59 so the steering wont rip off the brake line and make the bump steering a little better.

Dash & steering column back in my 47. Have to go back and fix the floor opening for some strange reason something changed since mockup. The column was still 3/4 of an inch out as the rag joint was touching the header. Rewiring the headlight buckets, the old cloth wiring was shot.

Sold the one I had to a friend, said he was going to put it in a shoebox he was building, still setting where I unloaded.

keep on lubricating the door latch ***emblys in my 54 so all of the doors work as well as the two i did yesterday.

when i started none of them were what you would call "smooth operating" and they didnt lock either.

Been motoring around town with The World's Most Beautiful Granddaughter.

All the little girls in her dance cl*** were dazzled by my coupe; she sort of said, yeah, that's ours, what's the big deal? Sophisticated, and only five years old.

Got the doors back on the truck today for the first time in two and a half years.
Fitted not too badly, they just need a bit of fine tuning.
I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel!

Found two major wiring issues I hadn't caught before and corrected them. Moved the electric fuel pump to a better location and I did it with out getting gas all over myself and the floor. :)

Making custom rear shock mounts for the coupe. Paint then install them. Getting a little better at welding.

Converting to disc brakes on the front of my old Dodge. I have the right side finished and tore apart the left side and found a worn out upper control arm bushing. Work stopped. I will order one tomorrow and hopefully finish everything up by the weekend.

I spent today ordering some parts for my 40 chevy and my wife's 37 chevy. When we get exhaust on her 37 we can start some shakedown runs...

  29. Worked on the rear frame section on the 55 Buick. Ordered a set of chrome valve covers for the 455 Buick, mainly to keep my spirits up as the project seems to have stalled a bit.

    On to next weekend....

Yesterday I got the quarters welded to the subrails on the A. Today I moved the Studebaker out to clean the garage floor. Getting ready to bring the A home and hopefully spend more time on it. I have a very understanding wife who has forfeited her parking spot in the interest of hot rod building.
