Take the kids out and cruise a bit (by THEIR request - and they're both girls!)...maybe connect with a buddy who just scored a nice 62 Tbird and hit Porkys.

Rolling up my sleeves and getting stuck into my 34 pick up, I got the week off so, brakes, gas tank mount, fuel lines, and wiring are on the to do list. Hope to fire it up next weekend (ever the optimist!)

  7. Since my son damn near rolled my '51 last night at 75mph (wound up sideways in the medium, but only lost 1 lancer spinner ) I think I will give the '51 a good bath and get the brown stains of the driver side seat.
And yes he will NOT be driving it again anytime soon!

Chasing down leaks on the 28 threw the hood back on. Rearranged my little shed so I can get the car in and still have a little space to work. Got into it with a tough guy that keeps hanging around my shop :)

I didn't do a damn thing to the car, except for fire it up and drive it into the garage.

Of course, the fact that I was able to put it in the garage means I was one busy M.F! I have plenty of room to work, too.

So, I did nothing TO my Chevy. However, I busted my **** FOR it.

Fired up my '50 Chevy 5-window truck, took my best guy to breakfast then for bedding plants to plant the containers for my front porch.

So, basically just drove my ride.

Saturday took my front wheels over to a friend of my son's in Dayton, Ohio to be relaced and trued up, went to lunch with my son and grandson, then back home. Sunday went and done the honey do list things, then to the garage to work on the bucket. Have you ever started a small repair and it just leeds to more work to fix all the bucther work that somebody before you had done!! It just felt like the longer I worked on the bucket the more I found hacked up, and that it just piss' me off because these guys that bucther stuff call themselfs car builders!!!

  25. I rolled my 40 pickup out side for a chance to clean the garage, I bought this truck dissasambled 3 years ago, and I've been collecting parts, so after doing the frame I was putting it all together to confirm I have all the parts - looks good so far.

It has a 302 with a AOD and a 9", this is going to be my dialy driver:D, at least for 9 or 10 months a year.

Sunday, going to Upper Bucks Street Rod Clubs Rod Run. One of the few that still only let 48 and older cars in. Yes a 74 year old hot rodder becomes a street rodder, so what. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt, only now I do it in comfort.
