What Are You Doing With Your Ride This Weekend ?

Installing a new starter motor, ignition switch and barrel in my 62 Galaxie.
Fixing a power steering hose on my non HAMB 69 pony so I can take my wife and daughter to a car show on Sunday.

I'm gonna waste a few more cans of penetrating oil and see if i can get the flathead caddy motor torn the rest of the way down so i can get the block to the machine shop for a hot tank session and magnaflux. most likely have to sleeve the cylinders, but not till i find out if the block is cracked. still gotta get the valves and cam out, 6 rod caps off (they're stuck tight) the crank out, and then pound out what's left of the pistons.

gotta love an engine that sat around for 50 or so years! Keith

 

Installing new rear frame rails to replace the rotten ones in the 64 Gal... I fabbed them up last weekend.

 

trying to fit buick drums onto 40 ford spindals hopefully



also gona wind the torsion bars up a bit on my daily witch is a 96 pajero with 2" suspension lift 2" body lift & 33" mud tyres or should i not mention it on here sorry if im not

 

Cut, grind, weld and repeat. Hopfully I can finish channeling the floor and get the body back on the frame.

 

if i dont go anyplace ill install all the new shocks and suspension parts ..
