I know a guy who learned everything he knows (and it is a lot) about re-building engines from his older sister. ;)

My 10yr old is currently helping me on the 41 dodge wc. However she realy wants a cj5. So I see a tube bender and 5pt harness.

    j/k...

She's only a year & a half old right now but she's already shown some interest in my friend's model A roadster.

Well my 4 year old obviously cant drive yet, but I am going to build her a mini t-bucket out of a riding lawn mower and a wheel barrel. Hopefully it will get her interested in cars.

My daughter is the the first Girl on my side of the family, so twas a shock for me! We named her Josephine so it's only fitting that we build a hot rod Ford, twin carbs and dual exhaust that'll eat up the rod. Ride on Josephine ride on!. I've got my eye on a 51 club coupe that I can horse trade outta a buddy, I'm thinking mild kustom HOT Y block, 4speed, and lakes laying on the ground with cruiser skirts! Oh yeah and the most important thing, BUCKET SEATS AND NO BACK SEAT!

my daughter is 14 now and I recently got her a older S10 for her to drive, 4 cylinder with an auto trans, enough power to get her out of trouble, but not enough to get her into trouble. Ive got alot of resoning why a mini truck -

    1) she has lots of friends and she can only have 1 in the front with her when shes driving since it has bucket seats and cant become distracted by other kids since there is no back seat

    2) its a truck, if she hits a curb or something like that, its ALOT cheaper and easier to replace a steering componet or a-arm vs a whole strut assembly and all the other crap that goes along with a fwd car

    3) she likes custom mini trucks for some reason, and with a mild lowering job and some custom wheels she'll stand out from the rest of the crowd

  9. My son and daughter, ages 40 and 35, have always helped out building our cars. My daughter still has the 65 chevelle hardtop she bought when she was 16. A few years ago I gave my daughter my T tub. She was 6 when I started building it. She has always wanted it. I gave my son my 51 ford coupe about 20 years ago. He still has it. My daughter can fix her own cars and did a lot of the work on building her boyfriend's harley. He freaked when he came home and it was in pieces. She said, no problem, we did this all the time at home, I can put it back togethere. hahaha. We also took the kids to car events near and far. They both have a love of cars. Pat.

My 14 year old doesn't like cars at all. And she's blonde. So...I'm leaning towards either one of the cars from Death Race, or an M-1 Abrahms tank..minus the gun turret.
