Hot Rods What are you guys running for 750-17 tires ? slim choices

Running 17" ford wires with 550 -17's front and rear, just looking to get a fatter rear tire on the back. i dont see to many options for 17" tires either 700 or 750 have a couple tires. anyone run Tornels?

 

I've always liked the B.F. Goodrich 5.50x17 fronts with 7.50x17 rears...

This '34 coupe has this combination. Hope that helps...

these look kind of cool i have never seen anyone use them

 

the reason you haven't seen them is that they are 10 ply truck tires...the sidewalls are so stiff, you could probably run them with 3 pounds of air and they'd still ride rough.

 

I also run 17's all around. 750-truck tires on the back, and it rides like a truck with 8-ply truck tires......rough.

 

haha yea! would look pretty cool, But she already rides rough enough!

 

eh whats another 2 plys haha, thank that looks Great! i have the original banger motor so i wont be driving it too far and fast, i might take the chance
