  2. Little Truckdoctor and I set the mock up engine in place last night. It’s no where close to where it needs to be, but we ran out of time. We will go back at it Saturday. IMG_8337.jpeg IMG_8340.jpeg IMG_8336.jpeg

Recently purchased this Henry 32. Has many little items needing my attention so I'll be working on it over the winter and hopefully drive it some this coming spring 2025. A**** the chores is new fuel line, new partial brake lines and adding residual valves, changing trans cooler lines, valve covers, air intake, dented oil pan and new shocks and coil overs and possibly a new wiring harness. I know once I start it will multiple!

Those things have a way of ***********. Replacing the floors in Clarence started out as a 3-4 week endeavor and grew into 5 1/2 years of major changes and upgrades.

Cut the leaf spring brackets off of my rear axle, pulled the axles and changed the brakes, I had a new set of loaded backing plates with new drums, had them for sale at the first Lloydfest for $75, glad nobody bought them :D 20241018_154346.jpg 20241018_154353.jpg 20241018_154356.jpg

I reunited my car with the hood I got rid of 30 years ago, installed an N.O.S. Core support and got the flip front working again, rotated the 413 and got her set for yet another winter of not being able to work on her IMG_20241017_163238.jpg

That vette has definitely had a hard life. I grew up riding in the back of one of those.

  19. The guy just wants this fixed. Needs the upper bird cage replaced.
He doesn’t want it painted either. Said the plan was to make it go and stop.
Im ok with that but he better get the ch***is under control before it gets bad.

  24. IMG_8362.jpeg IMG_8348.jpeg IMG_8347.jpeg IMG_8346.jpeg IMG_8359.jpeg Little Truckdoctor and I got the engine installed and mount made. We ran out of time for the transmission crossmember, it’s currently C clamped to the frame with some wood blocks. We have an idea on what to do, just need some time. Maybe this afternoon when I get home from work. Little Truckdoctor also built us some wheel stands so I can get under Papaw and have him at ride height.

I like em tight. But this isn’t one of those moments. :)

  29. Lumpy, when we first mocked it up, there was absolutely no way the manifold was going to clear the steering box. With the manifold on it, the engine was pushed approximately 1-1/2-2” to the right. I pulled the manifold off, centered and leveled the engine and will use either the POL or Speedway kit to use a Square Body C-10 power steering box on the outside of the frame.
