  1. That makes it even more perfect! I had no clue what it came from. but a friend had told me that it was from an early T. I thought that the T's were smaller but what do I know. Ha!

Does flooring my attic count as something automotive? I’m only doing it because I need to rathole more parts from the wife.

Like roothog, teaching myself the black arts of upholstery from YouTube videos. The results are OT here, but for having no real idea what I’m doing, I think I’m doing pretty well. Bought a portable walking foot “cotton welder” to start out with. My sewing is about as good as my welding. Now I need a “cotton grinder” and some cotton Bondo.

Not OT, got plans to work on my 37 and parts have been acquired and stashed in the garage, waiting for spring to arrive. Unheated one car garage is not fun to work in in the winter.

Been working on the vette, drove it to Goodguys Del Mar last weekend with no issues. Wasn't really digging the 2.20 muncie with 3.73 gears so I just ordered an aftermarket muncie M22 w with 2.56 1st gear. Really looking forward to that m22 gear whine:cool:

Completed today. Decided on a smaller diameter Wilwood MC and wheel cylinders. Replaced the lines from the flex line to the wheel cylinders also. I’m glad 62 Pontiac parts are still available. CEA98C91-5972-4D2F-8DFF-6028853E5504.jpeg 1B05E254-4378-4D57-808B-1A5DAAC129B4.jpeg

Currently plugging away at the OT project, gathering parts, fixing stuff up. It charges, has power steering that works and goes backwards and forwards.

Always good. Doesn't stop yet, that's on the to-do list.

  14. I run 4:88s in the coupe, F$ck it! Works great with the blown mill. Stop light to stop light is also pure fun.

20230406_210312.jpg Stuck this thing in for a fit check. Turning the tank 180 degrees aligns the tank fill with the factory fill tube tunnel, so now I can fabricate a fill tube and use the stock location. Gotta trim some more rust bed material and then I'm gonna hit it all with some por. View attachment 5696493

Some long needed maintenance since I have been neglecting this car and messing with others. Praying it makes the trip this weekend. :) Kinda like an old familiar friend.

Car was running like crap recently. I was talking to a friend about the poor quality of points and seems the Blue Streak ones that I just put in it recently were already junk... Runs much better now.

With the brakes completed I started the roadsters engine today. The completely new water system had a few glitches and the rear carb float bowl kept dumping gas in the engine so I replaced it with spare. All seams good and a compression check after a cool down was excellent so I’m pleased and can finish the rest of the assembly and new belts. There is a video on Facebook under Car 49 …It’s the page for Tone MotorSports. F2C74AD2-5F0B-4889-A2D8-9301048E659C.jpeg

I love everything about my ‘36 five window except it’s lack practicality when it comes to the boulevard, hauling my grandkids and showing up smelling like I’ve been sucking up rich exhaust fumes. It’s cool and gets the attention by sight or sound.
So I’m into a 34 Fordor project. It will still be old school but small block, A/C, disc brakes and a 350 turbo. I found some info on a 33 online but I still need some help on a few things. 156E3F5F-36D9-4527-8BDE-8F0A4D17D80E.jpeg 0C3BE05C-8097-4ABF-8A90-77774E077610.jpeg E52E763D-D72E-4AD8-8B15-2360122A0B84.jpeg

Just completed the first serious test drive in this one. Hopefully a brake bleed away from going to the “done” section.
