Technical What are you working on?

I was honored to be chosen to participate/compete in the 2026 Dayton Concours d'Elegance with the 64 G.P. yesterday! The theme was 100 years of Pontiac & 50 years of "3" series BMW's.

What a great show, the volunteers bent over backwards to make it enjoyable & the judges were joking with us which was cool. I knew my car would not win at a Concours, but it showed well & was a spectator favorite, mostly because the color really "Pops" in the sun.

I had a blast seeing old friends, meeting new ones & looking at some really awesome cars!

Only Bill would take a showroom with him to a car show.

 

And quite the show room it is! His customers know their vintage cars are truly traveling in luxury. That Pontiac looks amazing, Bill!

I have been to many Concours d'Elegance shows over the years, but it was always with customer cars, this was my 1st getting one of my cars judged...It was a lot of fun! Again I knew I wouldn't win anything, heck the car is really not even done yet & in these types of shows, there is only ONE winner per cl***.

Dang head gasket failure on our Elco

 

Ugh. Hard to "like" that one.^

 

More on the ‘51 F1 project. Front and rear suspension for a smooth (non-traditional) ride. Tidy these items up, then move on to brake and fuel lines, maybe even get the engine/trans back in before winter.
