  3. I am the kind of person that tends to buy stuff with the best intentions of installing them, only to have months & years go by without doing it!

I am spending time cleaning the building & rectifying my shortcoming by installing/adding the things I bought or had planned to build for many years.

Finished up the Rapid-Air lines to all parts of the building, installed a paint shaker that was a Christmas present 4 years ago, assembled the pallet rack I bought a year ago, built the upper wall & finished the door tracks for the divider between the paint room & addition & madly cleaning everything including the office which had become embarrassing!

Hopefully after Christmas I can start on the "Fun Stuff"....THE CARS!

    God Bless & Merry Christmas
    Bill

Yeah man! I work today then I'm off until the 27th, gonna see my kids for Christmas, but I got a seat for the truck that I need to build mounts for, gonna get the brake pedal box in and mount the booster/ master cylinder. Put the hood hinges back on and build the bed mounts while I'm off. Won't take long to get it drivable.

I have never seen one of these. Wonder if it works? Sometimes nothing beats the tools God gave us. That and a cork puller.

Works for tight filigree work on wood. Beats the heck out of glueing sandpaper on the end of a dowel.

I'm rotating parts in and out of the 100-gallon citric acid bath, for a like-new appearance.

In-between I am doing coordinate measuring on some Borg Warner transfer case parts that I will re-case for an AWD hot rod project.

Glad you are doing well Lloyd! Gary

  18. I didn't notice the flat bed rail on the bed, first in 54 like the grill, the seasoned pros will be arguing with each other on what year it really is at the shows.

I lightened the flywheel for the V8 60 and machined for an insert to shift the disc to the rear slightly, then drilled the flywheel for a diaphram pressure plate for the T5.

Start off with i didn't take any pictures today, with the exception of my exhaust fan lol. But I bought a rear seat from a Blazer, isn't perfect, little narrow at 50", but I put it in the truck, what the hell right? If I find something better suited I'll change it out. Stuck the hood hinges on the truck, and realized I don't have the shoulder bolts to bolt the hood on  didn't get to the bed mounts like I wanted, but I'll work on it some tmrw. IMG_20231210_175250.jpg IMG_20231210_175228.jpg I needed a bumper and patch panels for my 59 Ranchero, so I bought this abortion and will be dissecting it of all useable parts. I am now completely out of storage and need to start assembling all these piles of parts, and finding places to keep them
