What board do you post inquiring about a former driver?

I wanted to post about a former driver and both boards the thread was deleted as it wasn't on the right board, which one is the "right" one?

  2. What type of racing was this driver involved in, and from what era? There are some specific threads about drag racers and stock car drivers from the past that might be a more suitable place to post your inquiry. A driver from the more modern era might not get you much of a response.

Joe LaCosta, 50's, 60's rail cars. he's from LaSalle, Ill. 16 mi. east of where I'm originally from, Princeton. That's cute about Goober! You made my day! I needed a good laugh. Today would have been my mom's BD. Kinda a teary few days.
Thank you for your graciousness in responding.

If I remember your post right, it was very cryptic and had no information to get us started at all.

A Thread asking about a '50s to mid '60s dragracer would belong on the Main Board.

  5. The Andy Grifftith Show is an endless source of great quotes, isn't it? :D

Like Metalshapes said, put a post in the main board. Include Joe's name in the thread title. Include any other information you have like team mates, car name, tracks where he raced, etc. And most importantly post any pics of him or his cars if you have any. This is a very photo-centric site if you hadn't already noticed.

I'd be surprised if you didn't get some responses and more info.
