Technical What brake booster to use ??

I have a '74 Ford 2wd pu w/disc brakes in front. It stops OK but I would prefer a booster. Is there a certain yr. of Ford that I can use the brake booster on this trk. ? I used a kit from Summit on my '62 Galaxie and that was close to a nightmare to get it mounted & working. If another Ford donor isn't the answer what do you recomend ?

If it were me, I would swap in the booster from a 1974 Ford pickup.

I hear that they are a bolt-in.

 

Oh, and you will need the power brake master cylinder to go with that.
