I picked this guy up at a garage sale this summer for 5 bucks. It looked like it hadnt been worn in years so i left the patina....believe it or not i havnt touched itwith any polish, just wearing it everyday has made it look pretty bitchin! I researched it a bit when i got it and it doesnt seem to be worth anything but i think its awsome. The top corners say "business" and "pleasure", and RECORD SALES YEAR. The back simply reads "pc 2020340010" Anybody know if this is an original and when it would have been produced? I read they were given to salesmen in the 20's-30's but also heard there were some made in the seventies....idk... i know this isnt antiques roadshow but thought this could be relevant! Rock on and thanks!:D

Looks like a belt buckle from the 1970s to me.

I've got a belt buckle story...
My brother works with my friend Jim.
Jim's kid bought him some Old Spice for father's day. He took out the commemoratives and wrapped them separately as if they were seperate gifts...
Now alot of folks find commemorative belt buckles kinds cheezy but this was beyong that...
It was a Columbus day belt buckle and medallion commemorating the discovery of America and it had the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa maria on them.
Jim brought them to work to have some fun with. He had the medallion on a gold chain. he's in his 50's with the hairy chest and all.

He forgot he had it on when they went out doing deliveries. There was this girl at one of the filling stations he had been flirting with and when he was at the counter he leaned on his elbow and the gold chain with this big sailing ship medallion came swinging out and he just played it off like it was the style and the girl didn't know what to think.

    AMODELAHOLE...
Y'all into rasslin with that avatar? [IMG]

My Mom and her friend Beverly are big Nick Bockwinkel fans from way back. They started a fan club when they were teens and he was like 20 something.
Mom wrote a nice article about wrestling that got into the Cauliflower Ear. They were in Vegas not too long ago when Nick was speaking and Nick recognized them in the audience and gave props, that was cool. Nick is a great classic wrestler.
My friend Mike was Bruiser Mastino (Gold Dust's bodyguard) and The Mantaur. He always had a rolled up All Stars of Wrestling mag in his pocket back in grade school.
I haven't seen him in a few years but I heard he's retired and back home working a business with his dad. Great guy. He has a scar down his forearm. In college this crazy dude broke into a girls house to kill her and maybe her boyfriend. Mike was just there and took an ax in the arm to stop the guy. He's always been one to step up for someone smaller or weaker and take control of the situation...I've known him since 1st grade.

Mad Dog Vachon lives here in Omaha. I've seen him around a few times, he's a great sport.
Man your avatar brought up some old memories. I saw that movie the wrestler at first I hated it, It ate at me and I had to go back and see it again Mickey Rourke made it real, I think I was just feeling bad for him dying in the end.
Sorry if anyone got offended for going off topic.
