what carb; 409 vs 348

I am on the hunt for a test carb for this motor. I don't remember what type was on the 348.or the 409 any ideas thank you much bob s

 

Depending on the year, model, application, and horsepower rating:

348 could be had with:

Rochester 2 barrel 2G
Rochester 3x2 (a 2GC and two 2-G
Rochester 4 barrel 4GC
Carter 4 barrel WCFB
Carter 4 barrel AFB

409 could be had with:

Rochester 4 barrel 4GC
Carter AFB
Carter 2x4 barrel AFB
