Ok, I apologize for calling him a trophy hunter.

I'm still amazed at the relative noobs coming in and wanting to change things up before they really know what's going on here.

No sweat. Reading it makes him sound like one. I just know he's not.

And yes, new guys wanting to change stuff is a pet peave of mine as well. I understand their good intentions, but still...

Thanks for sticking up for me Buzzard. I didn't understand that it was " let's **** around day at the strip". Now I know it's just havin fun grudge matches etc. You should be able to tell my car has won many a trophy at Good Guys. This also make sense because it's only one day, some events are 2 day and alot of the fun races happen on day one and finals on day two. Thanks for all your help even though you had to knife me a couple of times. I'm with you, us new guys are always getting you fired up with stupid **** and it's fun that's hot rodding.

Whooo, the sarcasm is thick in here. Good thing you didn't take it personally or literally! Someones feelings may have gotten hurt.

Ya know...I think we got off on the wrong foot here. I'm all about having fun and meeting people to make friends. As far as drag racing and hot rods I've been around long enough to see both of them go full circle.....Hell, I was probably building and racing hot rods when you were a *****le in your old mans eyes. MoKan has been around since '62 and I live about 30 miles from there. Don't tell me what drags are all about.

I think it's really great that Ryan chose MoKan to have this event. My hats off to him!! I look forward to this event every year....alot of it reminds me of the day!!

So when you see the purple and white Henry J don't look down on me just because all the rubber is inside the fenders. Come by and say hi.....and lets enjoy the sport of hot rods and do a little heads up racing! :D

I have much more drag racing blood in me, and probably a bit older than you give credit for. Let's just say our old family Super8 films were not of picnics and weddings but the Winternationals at Beeline.

Wrong foot, maybe so. I'm not an angry guy, really! I may come off as one but in reality I'm just blunt and to the point, not one to sugar coat everything to a bland PC discussion. But you have to understand that myself and a few others that have been to every single HAMB Drags are going to get a bit defensive, maybe a bit offensive to those that want to change up a "tradition" that we started.
