Have been having a miss showing up under no load on SBC at around 1500 RPM. Vacumn steady at 17 inches. Plug wires okay, new plugs with good color, conpression at around 120 plus or minus five pounds.

Couldn't find anything electrical or mechanical so looking a little deeper. Put on another coil maybe a little better, but could have been my imagination. I have been running a resistor so I bypassed it and it got noticably better, but not completely smooth.

I am running a Unilite distributor with a can style Accel Super Coil.

Can someone tell me what coil I should be running and whether should I should be running a resistor.

    Thanks in advance.....

The correct Mallory coil part number is 29440 or 30440. I use two resistors on mine in series, been that way for 18 years now.

It's a Unilte, there are no points, or condensor.
