    Hey there everyone!

What color do you think my car should be? Just looking for opinions because I cant decide and not very creative. I would like something flat/suede...

    Thanks!

Dark colors generally look good on large cars. No primary colors unless they are dark, i.e. dark maroon, navy blue etc. No sunshine yellows, Fire engine reds, bright blues.
Shades of silver always look good on just about anything.

    Just my opinion.

Gloss black, or a really deep gloss burgandy. That car's got too many curves to wrap her in satin man!

  10. I agree, maybe a dark blue or dark green (don't see a lot of greens out there. I also agree it needs to be gloss.

How about flat moss green with a gloss black roof with green flake in it?Then maybe some different shades of green and black pin stripping.

Dark red - maroon with dark gray fenders. Subtle gold metallic or M-Flake scallops on fenders.

very dark blue, shiny, solid color, no sparkle, wheels black, put any missing chrome back on, matching blue interior for hard parts and black for the upholstery - don't forget the chrome.

Pink w/ aqua scallops and a tweed interior.

  23. Gloss burgundy or dark blue or dark green. Too many nice curves to paint it flat.

There is a mid 70's Mopar color called Rocket Red you ought to check out. It is a moderately dark red/ burgundy. Check out a color book at your local paint store. It is non metallic so it color sands and polishes out nicely. I had a 35 Buick that I painted this color. I got more kudos on that color than I could believe.

Remember: Dark shiny colors accents body work!
Light flat colors hides body work!

    So make your choice accordingly.

A dark caramel/butterscotch or even rootbear mild metallic (not flake) with a pearlescent light cream roof.

  28. I just traded one of these a few months ago...I always thought a deep blue almost navy would have looked great on it or a deep maroon...great body style...wish I could have kept it but used the money for other projects...good luck with yours
