Thanks for the advice guys. I am still a little on the fence. Still a little on the gold side, as I just cant picture orange looking 'right' in the car.

 

Lots of car show 60's-70's street rods had black engine blocks - it highlited the chrome and polished aluminum, and didn't show the road dirt so badly....(compare with the stark-white fad that didn't last...)

...and I always picked bright red over Chevy Orange....
