Thinking of running 15 rims on the front and 17's on the rear. Trying to get an old school hotrod look with bigger tires in the rear and smaller tires on the front. Anyone got this combo? I'm trying to find a combo that has the same proportions as viewed from the side, that is white wall to ground level. Hope I'm making myself clear.

I could definitely be wrong, but I don't think running a 15/17 combo was or should be a popular choice. The front rims would look tiny compared to the back. I think it would look really imbalanced.

If yoy are looking for a bigger rear tire look, you can easy do that using the same size rim and the right tires. On my sedan I ran 16x4 ford steelies with 6.00/16's, and the rear is 16x6 rim with 7.50/16's. It to me gives a great look, and is a real popular tire combo. Heres a couple pics if it helps
