Didn't you mean to say "on your hot rod"? We aren't all the elite group that own '32 Fords. Many of us don't even own Fords of any year.

    Just my thoughts.

I don't know about being "elite" and all of that, was just looking for a specific thing.
Like if someone was to say" what wheels are you running on your 1960 Plymouth" it would not mean they are an elitist, just looking for specific examples for a car they own.
People that do not own a 1960 Plymouth would not see the need to reply they would just move on to the next post.

Check out custom motorcycle gas caps - lots to choose from depending on your style of build.

Formerly a knock-off. And, a use for one of the lightening holes in case I drive off & forget to attach the cap...which I have.

You probably set yourself up on that one.
From a buddy's experience with his 32 years ago I'd say find a good looking locking gas cap with the little cover that flips over or away from the key hole. Sourvineer hunters seemed to gravitate to his gas caps until he put a locking cap on it. They snagged about three caps including a couple of cheap parts house chrome ones before he broke down and put a locking cap on it.
Bob Drake sells a nice looking Ford cap but you have to make sure of your filler neck size to get the right one
