what did everyone get for christmas??? (early, i know...)

hoping all of you are having a great christmas, hanukkah, kwanzaa, chinese new year etc...

so did everyone get everything they asked for...??

did christmas with my mom and brother tonight, SCORE!!!! got a 151 piece craftsman tool set, a bench grinder, and the new johnny cash box set of unreleased materials...if i didn't get another thing for christmas i'd still be completely happy. well, i'm off to the inlaws house....

i sincerely hope that all of you have a safe and merry christmas...now let's hear what ya scored!!!

 

I got a floor jack and a couple of jack stands and a set of new Craftsman drill bits.

A friend called me up said he heard I was looking for a truck and gave me a 61 Chevy stepside 1/2 ton pickup with a rod out the side of the 327, its got an Edlbrock 4brl intake and a 4 on the floor. ( now I gotta get a friend to help me pick it up)

I got a bunch of warm clothes and some old Fireking Jadeite dishes and bowls for the kitchen , and some new games for the Playstation2 , great stuff .

Hope you all get some cool stuff too , and have a goodtime with friends and family.

I turned 20 in august and got my first pube for christmas a week ago!

All kidding aside I think i am getting some tools and what not will not know for a few more hours when i wake up in the morning with family and see what "Sandy Clause" (i.e. Florida X-mas) left under the oak tree.

 

Drill Doctor and a new Skillsaw....picked 'em out myself. That's what I bought for myself. The rest will be divulged after opening gifts.. PS....I axed Santy Claws for a Henrob torch...dare I even give it serious thought?[chewing on knuckle]

 

Hey Chris... Big thanks to me! I told your mom to get ya the tool set! I said "well, the last time I was over helping him wrench on his car, he didn't have crap for decent hand tools... this set here looks like it'd have pretty much everything he'd need to wrench on his Ford or his VW's..." Happy Kwanzaa gaywad!

 

Nothin' really kick ass. But I did get a digital camera finally, and the OK from the wife to break into our savings to buy a stash of model "T" bodies.

Now I can take pictures of projects at the shop and bore ya'll with the shit.

Sorry in advance, there are no extra Model "T" doors in the stash.

I got a new Sony digital camera to take more/better pics for the HAMB next summer! Watch out for the Shadow

 

Got a 10" drill press and two velocity stacks to top off the tunnel ram on my '37 Dodge. Maybe Santa will bring me the two carbs to go under the stacks tonight.

HMMM! well CherryBlossom out did herself this year. she's been so excited to give me my gifts that she has been giving me one every couple days for the past 2 weeks . she got me a sub to Rodder Journal (ROCK ON!!), the new Pat Ganahl book about "Big Daddy", a VERY KICKASS watch with flickering flames in the face (god knows HOW it works but it is COOL!!) and prolly about the coolest thing of all (though it is real hard to pick a favorite) but a VON TINGLER original airbrushed shirt featuring a carachature of me as the devil (not a far stretch as i am often told i do resemble El Diablo) driving my "FnA", it is SOOO cool. she even got a shirt for Mongo! man, that was all just the stuff she gave me before tonight. i also got some Muscle Machines and Hot Wheels i wanted and the Rat Fink model and a bunch of other goodies. the inlaws got me some cool sweatshirts with skulls and flames and an OCC long sleeve T-shirt. i know, what a poser . my folks got me a new Leatherman tool (i lost the one i got last year), i love that thing, the handiest tool i've EVER owned! they also got me a new cordless drill. a Craftsman 19.2 volt with an extra battery, a tool bag and a small cordless screwdriver. i did good!! . OHH. i also got the wildest clock from my wife (CB). it is a flattened out beer BOTTLE with a clock mechanism mounted to it. they must have heated it up and flattened it out then driled a hole for the clock. it's the neatest thing. CherryBlossom ROCKS!!

You know its sad when people buy you tools you already own, but its really sad when they buy you the same tools.

I got THE WHO The Ultimate Collection double CD album and I'm treating the whole neighborhood to the sounds right now!

I got a sweater from Bro in law's girl friend and a tool set in a trunk case from other bro in law. and a Mag-light and some hefty gift certificate cards!
And some neat hardwood TV trays so I can eat dinner while watching a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fifth season (present too) marathon.

Got a boo called Concept Cars by Larry Edsall. some neat stuff in it. Barnes & Noble pub.

I just got coal Must be I was bad boy Actually I got the best gift of all. A christmas morning with all my kids and grandkids. There is no better gift than that ..... except for maybe the hot rod books I got

BTW kritz one of my sons got the same Jonny Cash set. He says it's killer.

 

Don't actually have them in my posession yet, but I got the Okay to order some Milners for the coupe.

I love it that Mrs. buzzard knows that I want chrome wheels for X mas. Same goes for all of the Missuses that bought tools and parts for ya'll.

Now if we could only learn to listen as well as they do!

I wish I had something, but I haven't opened anything from anyone yet. Santa came early and gave me a nice dose of the Influenza virus last Monday, the last 4 days have been a puking, fever, coughing, and snot-rag ridden hell and has messed up all my holiday plans. I feel better today, and I do know that one of my gifts is that Johnny Cash Box set that just came out, but we'll have to wait and see what other goodies are heading my way.

My girl rules! I got this!

 

I realy screwed up!!! My brother called me a few weeks ago to tell me he picked up a rolling chassis for a debt owed to him.I asked what type ?? He told me a paughco for a shovel head. I proceeded to tell him get rid of it and get a evo frame something with better back adjusters cause paughco`s suck. Basicly i told him it was junk. He called and told me he had a nice set of pan head cases. I got a little more excited but told him he could build a evo way cheaper.Here is the kicker he calls me to tell me. I have hurt his feelings that he was gonna give me the bike for x-mas but all i have said about it was negative so I am now ass out!!! Now that shit is funny i screwed my self out of a rolling chassis for x-mas. Boy can I be a ASSHOLE. And I am trying to punctuate just for plowboy

 

I'm happy - got a MIG gas kit for my squirt welder, cart for the welder/bottle, 'Art of Big Daddy Roth' book, Paasche airbrush kit, and some socks. I don't know what to play with first!
