did they make valve covers and if so who has a set and can you post a pix post any pix of Fenton sbc stuff thanks Tom
Here's a thread I started for SBC speed equipment.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=290160 There's some Fenton stuff in it.....
My pop's roadster runs Fenton 3x2 intake with the early Fenton fuel log, Fenton Valve covers, and those super cool Fenton Headers. This winter we are pulling the motor to freshen and installing the sbc to 32-48 Ford trans adapter. Cool shit for sure.
Fenton SBC exhaust headers as installed on Gary Bennett's 1932 Ford 3 window coupe. Note the way the frame/motor mount has been modified for clearance.
My pop's roadster runs a Duece frame and a Hurst saddle mount for the engine. The front ports on his manifolds just clear the rails.
PLEASE post pics when you do....that would be awesome! I've never seen all complete Fenton dress up kit... But like 31modelo said- Them damn headers...lol...I've been trying to get my hands on a set for years.
I have tried to buy 2-3 sets on eBay over the last year or so. They go for BIG coin... If I remeber right they go for $1500+ ... I would love to cast them or something like them.
I have a set of valve covers like the ones above. They are for early staggered bolt pattern. Still do not know what to do with them. I'm runnin Hildebrandt on mine right now. Found them at swap meet for $40. Yea they need a little work but, for $40 I can work on them a little. Interesting trades welcome!!!! I like early Olds stuff, Lasalle trans parts(37 top loader).
