Well, at the risk of sliding waaaaaay off topic. My grandfather worked at the Norge for a couple decades. They gave him a job, just so he could play net for thier city league hockey team.
Those were the days, huh?

The little "wings" are probably from the rear quarters of a '60 Ford, the Fairlane 500 model. I doubt they are very common.

 

1st pic, looks like it could be the latch or something from the cover of an outboard motor.
