Great find, drag them out and turn them right side up in the spring. Rake around the area to find the other cast off parts. If there's barns, go thru them carefully, I've found stuff stashed in the strangest places.
I've cleaned the barn and the milk-house out, but didn't find anything interesting. There is the original garage which has caved in, that has some old iron laying around it. Hopefully there's more fun to be had there. Few engine blocks, wheels, etc laying around. Not sure what's in side. I can only stick my head in the window and look around.
Get out there with a flame thrower and a leaf blower, man! You have some goodies! I bet the helmet is a sort of monument and requiem for someone's racing career...he put his helmet out with his used up racers and parts cars when he realized he had reached quitting time.
Very cool old finds. When the snow clears up take some more pictures for us. Please tell me the '55 chevy had it's roof cut off and isn't a convertible.
That 39 pisses me of, it's left for dead, and this guys junk is still better then my project. Get at it, lad! There is money to earn there and fun to be had. There are even a project for next winter right there!
