what did i get myself into 57 truck build

hey rocky thanx for the advice, a buddy of mine hook me up with some 56 chevy car wheels, think there 15x5's it gave me little more then half inch clearence wich is better than nothing. i need to swap my tires over to them now.

 

hey guys here's a few progress pix. getting ready to paint my wheels i'm using the skinner ones so they will clear the fender wells. i had to move my exhaust over. i had it between the body and frame but after i put the bed on i realize it would be hitting the step hanger so im mving them inside the frame just worried about it being to close to my under floor mc booster

[i scored this 12 gauge sheet for $20 and a 12 pack of bud. just not sure if i'm gonna raise the bed or build it over the notch. any suggestions. i still wanna haul shit and not worry about my ice chest of beer flying out when i hit a bump LOL but easier would be to run it across

 

Was going to post some pix but my computer died anyways got my exhaust done cleaning up the wheels hopefully painting them tomorrow then mount the tires wanna drive her already just realize today that im gonna have to raise the bed if I run the sheet metal its low but I sorta like how it sits
