I was stoked to hear a new TIG welder is on its way. Must not have fit in the Santa bag.

  4. My brother got me a see through torch tip for my TIG and my wife got me an angle die grinder and my mom got me a wooden machinist's chest.

    Sam.

Santa delivered a three piece tool chest to the garage....somehow the smallest chest found it's way to my bedroom and the top of my dresser and wants to be my new jelwery armorie.:D I also got a new tool bag for Big Olds instead of that huge tool box I use to carry in there, and some socket racks that I needed.

Santa also paid for the matting and framing of an Alan Johnson art piece I got earlier in the year. (the fin of a Caddy)

and my most favorite gift is a leather purse with tooled cars and palm trees all over it. Truely something special.

Not car related, I got a string of lights for my tiki lounge shaped like flip flops and a tiki themed photo frame with a photo of us in it taken in CA during Paso from Megan, an empty s****book from my sister, a pair of flannel PJ bottoms from my nephew (he gets me a pair every year with his own money), some socks and perfume which I promptly gave away to my Aunt cuz I didn't like the smell. Our family is into re-gifting instead of wasting.....we just don't tell the person that was the giver.:D

The latest issue of TRJ (which is great) and an interesting book called "The Cobra in the Barn". A compilation of real barn finds with photos. The author is Tom Cotter & it is a real fun book to read.

There have actually been real AC Cobras & other exotic pieces pulled from barns. There is also a nice story about the Bud Neumeister Av8 that I can't wait to finish reading.

I got a call from my oldest son (24) who is out at Luke AFB flying F-16s and our younger son spent Christmas at home with us. This will be his last as a single guy since he is getting married in May. I got the usual collection under the tree but time with my wife and sons is the best Christmas of all. I spent Christmas 2005 110 miles west of Bagdhad.
