  1. XMAS WAS GREAT.. only 1 toy and big gas grill no car parts :(
BUT THE GRANDSONS 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY TONITE WAS THE BEST...after dinner cake and gift opening...the birthday boy said we all had to come downstairs to race..the 6 attendees had to pick a hot wheels car out of a box and the when the box was empty (14 cars each team.. the kids knew which cars had been the winners:))we had a round robin drag race on the new dual track where the winner kept thier car and this took over two hours...
ha.. I won with a new car he had been given tonite a candy apple red 64 ford galaxie.. it was tough remembering which cars were fast and which were winning in which lane....the hot rods i picked outa the box had seen the most previous floor action and were all slow on the top end ...the daughter"s mini vans were toughest to beat (heaviest)and the light weight race cars seemed to all fly off the track while ahead ... this was great fun...can't wait to see the little guys next week .. I 'm gonna open some of my saved HOT ROD/custom ones for the next "nationals"

  2. Sounds like fun, were all big kids at heart. Guess thats why I drag race 1/24th slot cars!

The Red Head gave me an English wheel and a planishing hammer. Now all I have to do is learn how to use them. Good thing for me the company I work for creates alot of s**** sheet metal. My first project will be a hood scoop for the roadster.
