'64 Pontiac Strato Chief. Red, with four blue doors.

Mismatched paint has been the story of my life ever since!

Not easy to come home in anything cool over here, but my eldest son managed it in '92 in a baby blue and white '55 pillarless Buick Special. Then my youngest son came home in 2003 in my '69 Triumph convertible.

I always figured that I rode home in the '53 f-100, it was a year old at the time and I think it was the only vehicle we had then. However my dad was talking about random things one day (he's 92) and he said that I rode home in the preachers Studebaker. I still have the f-100.

63 Plymouth Wagon. Probably what started me on my love for wagons. I probably thought it was cool as hell but since I was an infant, I don't remember.

August 5, 1960.Turqouise and white 55 Bel-Air 2-door with 2 in. lowering blocks , 57 283 with 2 fours, and J.C. Whitney stick on checkered flags on the quarter panels. At least thats what they tell me. The other story is when I was about 2ish I pulled a hot pot of coffee down on myself , where my frantic parents scooped me up and took me to the hospital with my skin peeling off. On the way a cop in a 59 Ford pulled my dad over and offered a escort the rest of the way to the hospital. The same 55 Chevy was what we were in and according to my dad, the officer wasn't going fast enough , so he pulls out from behind him and blows his doors off on the way to the hospital! The story goes that the officer was apologetic but at the same time gave him a warning not to do that again. I had to learn to walk and talk again. I guess my dad saved my life.;)
