Changed the brakes on my DD. Swapped the battery cable in my wife's DD. Finished hammering the dents out of the left rear fender on my 48 Pontiac. Sent my brother (in the next town over) to look at a Cadillac 472 for the Pontiac. Lots of yard work. Got the blower motors working on the in law's fireplace. And spent some time with the family - hope I'm never finished with that one.
I did nothing, but surf the net during the day, and went clubbing all nights. Sometimes you just have to.
I went to Ventura Nats on Saturday, bought some 40' backing plates. Finished a resume so I can get another job so I can afford more hot rod stuff.
Picked up my complete '58 365 caddy motor for my new 31 sedan project Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
Spent part of the afternoon screwing with the weedeater carb. Its like a dam gas R/C carb, only to find the muffler was plugged. Never could get that dam oil/gas mixture right...
Put body putty on the 39 front fender, sanded it off. Put more putty on the fender , sanded it off. More putty, think I got it this time!!
I finished plumbing my brakes, dropped the engine and trans back in then test fit my new exhaust manifolds. I'm stoked!
I brought my '65 T-Bird out of storage and cleaned it up. Drove it around, driving dirty til Wed. when I can get it plated.

Spent six hours modifying a new Summitt universal battery box to fit my O/T Mustang. It is amazing how long it takes TIG welds to cool and paint to dry when you are drinking beer and talking with friends.
friday night was welding on a trailer, then i 45 min ride home on the bike in the heavy rain, then beer. i woke up saturday to clean parts, its funny cause i remember them being in the parts washer and floor before then. so i put in more parts to soak. went to goodguys KC. cam home, beer. woke up sunday to more clean parts...there just might be gremlin helping me out. went to greaserama. monday i changed out the kitchen sink and put the garage back to "normal" so the misses could park in it.
Greased rear bearings and torqued down axle nuts. Final aligned radiator. Fixed shifter. Wired up generator. Put my body blocks and bolts in. Baby steps but moving slowly in the right direction.
took my 61 Dodge out for a spin. haven't driven it in at least 6 months. I hate driving that car now. 3 speed column shift ****s. doesn't like to idle now.
Hopefully ****oned up all the loose ends under my car. Fixed trans leak, hooked up speedo wires, clipped up the air lines, Got the fuel tank all hooked up, and a vent line made for it. and bolted the brake booster to the firewall.
Well actually I lied, it took us all weekend but the missus and I finally finished off a rack of ribs and a small tub of potatoe salad.
