Finished cleaning up the bracket scabs on my narrowed Olds rearend. Broke down a '46 front axle for the spindles and installed them on the old chrome straight axle in the shop. All adding to the pile for the Corvair project.

I got the tranny switched in my 1947 Ford. About a week ago I took a few teeth of some of the gears when I was out having fun with the car.

After 7 years of building my digger & trailer from scratch we took it out this weekend to the Piston's Test & Tune @ Thompson for it's innagural run down the 1/4 mile. Of course, by the time we got to the track it was raining - we tried to wait it out, but mother nature was having none of that and eventually they had to call the event. By the time we got home the sun was out and it was a perfect day - go figure!!!!

Finished slanting the drivers side b-pillar on my 49 shoebox after the chop. Man I thought the "other side" was always easier but it was a bitch! Started on the sail panels last night. Picked up a pair of headers Sunday night. Making progress! Might be able to make some noise this weekend.

  7. No pics but I got the wiring harness in the Anti-Rod. Haven't landed evcery wire but its hung in there along with the attached gauges and switches.

Pulled the motor from my Skylark and started cleaning it up for the '48 Chev I'm working on. Oh, and also made a deal on a front axle for my roadster.

Not a damn thing! had to go back to work to finish my project (51 Fleetline). Had to work Sat and Sun at Lowe's. Hope to get back on the car in a few weeks as I have a couple of weekends off. After being retired for four years, working is killing this old man!
