Unusually productive weekend for me. Started by smashing my left hand with one of the heads off of the hemi. Them things are heavy! Then decided that it was time to find a ****** for the Plymouth. I quickly found out that I wasn't willing to part with $325 for one out of the boneyard. So, I bought a complete running S-10 pickup for $300, drove it home, and pulled the T-5 ****** out of it. I just finished watching the rest of the truck get loaded on to a trailer. Some guy wanted the frame to put under his '46 Ford truck. Paid me $150 for the rest of the truck. The things we do to save a buck.

I got absolutly squat done! I was on the road for most of Saturday, Suday night, and this morning going to and coming back from the Food City 500 in Bristol. Good race, not too thrilled with the winner (Kyle Busch), but enjoyed myself anyways. Looking forward (I must be nuts) to the next trip-I'm going to Talledega next month.

It rained like a ***** Saturday, but Sunday turned out decent so I pulled the hot rods out of the garage and did some sweeping in there and generally milled around aimlessly like an alzheimer patient on holiday, moving **** from here to there and back again. I did jump in the 40 and make a blast up the ol country rd at sunset though....
