I cleaned out the carport connected to the side of the shop, and moved the '58 Apache under it. This will be my new workspace for the duration of the build. No more climate control, but it's getting to be some nice weather outside so it shouldn't be bad
I finished welding on the front bed frame mounts and capped the ends of the frame and 2-link. Gotta start on shortening my new longbed fleetside panels this coming weekend hopefully. A few more welds and the chassis will be ready for paint! :D

Sorry, no pics. I forgot to take the camera with me Saturday.

Other than take down the two Christmas trees, pack up all of the Christmas decorations, go shopping for food, put up with my daughter and her friends, go shopping for more food (because of the preceding reason), and watch the Steelers whoop the Raven's collective asses, not much of anything else.:D:D

I going to go back to work on Tuesday to get some rest.:D Besides at a high of 9 degrees during the the day, it was just too freaking cold to be in the garage, other than to fetch another six pack.

Weekend counting today = 12 hours Sat for me, 0 Sun, 10 Mon for my son and I, we finished Battery/Fuel Pump Box, Finished tying in the rear of the coupe at the new EMS Tool Tray and new Drake rear panel to our tubs and inner fenders/wheelwells/floor pans.

Overall a good productive weekend, even if it fell a little short of my goal....

I had early on considered not redoing the rear section of the car, but all things considered, it was best to go ahead and make some improvement in this area. It was a shit load of work getting all of that stuff done, but well worth the effort at this point.

Would post a few pictures, but the battery in my camera is dead, and frankly, this fact combined with the fact that I don't have the energy to really give a shit enough to make the effort it ain't getting done today... If the thread is still alive tomorrow I might think about it.

And as far as those of you who have posted here that have gotten a lot more and a LOT BETTER done than I did,,,, screw you!!! (Just joking,,, but I have some covetous issues with you guys!)

I stripped 50 yr old undercoating off the underside of my hood while my pal bones sanded my front frame and crossmember down and blocked out a fender.

We it all started picking up the Y-block last week. I had the better half with me. She noticed that a house had two pipe corrals that were not being used. Seems she has picked up on my observation.
So I stopped and asked if they were for sale. Yup! What normally cost about $2500 went for $400. Pipe corral is not cheap.
So the pain began friday. I loaded 7 24 foot panels(160lbs each) with the help of the seller. Then I unloaded the panels myself. Decided I would get started and surprize her. Our old two stalls were 20 x 20...So I began to build the larger corral outside the original. Saturday was 6 hours of work. Then another 6 hours on sunday. Finally finshed putting up the corrals and two shelters.
Totally exhausted. Shoveling and raking and leveling....then today I finished the round pen.
So my card is punched till the summer time. Nothing but building the truck.

Dug up the back yard with my fiture Son in law looking for the cause of a septic backup. Found it, things are flowing, not a fun job in sub freezing weather. He's a great kid!

I thought I would have my second garage up by now so I could make room in the old garage to work. Instead I was working on a letter that's going to the prosecutor's office in the morning to press criminal theft charges against the contractor that took money for a job that he didn't do. If you have a contractor do any work around your house make sure he is legal to do the work. Registered in your County, bonded, and Insured.

He was nice enough to leave a message on my answering machine telling me. "I don't want to go to jail, you can hold my tools, and sale my pepsi collection until I can give your money back to you." I told the Detective that this guy is a talker, and he said a lot on the machine. Him going to jail really doesn't help me though.

Pulled the starter to replace the soft plug on the 1948 8N Ford tractor. Got it runing this afternoon. I''m hoping by having it ready to plow snow (after already getting more than last year) it will stop snowing for the winter. Since I inherited it from my grandfather every time it's laid up it snows like there is no tomorrow. When it's ready to go it never snows.

Been building my front end for the 31 fendered roadster. Over the last few weekends I have installed new king pins in my 46 48 spindles & actually have them installed on my dropped A axle. Last weekend I reversed the eyes on the main leaf (thanks loudpedal for the tech) Today I prepped my split A bones to accept the weld bungs. Next weekend I will weld the bungs in & then do more clean up for paint.

The rear end is next. This is actually a ton of fun.
