got drunk friday night, wasted saturday feeling like crap and was going to put some time into my new 250/6cyl today, but am still hagged from friday. just cant do it like i used to. :(

  5. did some exhausting work...(Pun intended)....finished welding up the headers and the hookup pipe at the collector, made a header turn out end bracket for the aluminum block off plate, making another one tomorrow night and welding them up. Took the body off the frame again last weekend to finish the chassis work by end of next week, then its off to the blasters. Coming along...slower than I like, but coming along. :)

Sat: Surfed at dawn, went to the morning hot rod gathering, ran the dog on the beach, took my son on his first junk yard trip for Volvo seats, worked in the garden, napped, cleaned the shed
Sun: Surfed again, tuned up my kid's Volvo and replaced the starter motor and seats, finished the shed and put my '67 Lambretta inside!

Started swapping out the 327 in the T-Bucket for a new 350. Made a new dash and played with the gauge layout. The speedo and gas gauge will be in later this week. I'll move the ignition switch and headlight switch to the lower left side of the dash.

friday, not a whole lot. Finished up the front suspension on my 47,

Sat, woke up early, drove to issaqua for the club meeting, stopped at a friends house and cruised covington on the way back, then went home and watched the 47 hold the concrete down.

Today, went for a quick ride again, got caught in the rain on the way back, did some striping, and here i sit!

I got a 71 Challenger jambed for a customer. Panther pink, yuck! Then a family member brought their o/t baja bug over and we made motor mounts for the new engine. A 3.2 Honda v-6. It should do awsome wheelies!

Pulled the weekend duty at the office - Worked both days. The only thing I managed to get done was sand and paint the rear diff in the '55 and get the rear cover back on. Hopefully the stench of gear lube in the garage will go away now.

I changed the tranny gear oil in the truck. And I finally got the split exhaust manifold on my truck. Then I used any excuse I could find to drive it around just to hear it. :D

This video doesn't do the sound justice, waaaay better in person and outside the truck......

Replaced the rf steering knuckle, hub, bearing, and cv boot on a accedent dammaged 02 Pt cruiser and four wheel alignment. Rebuilt and installed all four wheel cylinders on my Fairlane. Replaced brake shoes and refinshed all brake drums. cleaned and repacked front wheel bearings and replaced hub seals. The fairlane is now 110% ready for Viva Las vegas. Spent the last day off converting a 29 model A to hydraulic brake with a good friend. I'm tired so I came to work to bust my ass again.

Patched the DS rear quarter of my '64 Cat and straightend a long crease put in there by a previous owner. Restoring this car is like eating an elephant. You do it one bite at a time ................ and it's a big elephant.

  25. Cleaned the house while my wife and daughter went to a movie.
Saturday night, worked on the frame of the Buick. Welded in the rear crossmember, boxed the end of the frame, mounted the transmission crossmember.

    Sunday, did almost nothing.
