Worked on the rear brakes on my T-Bucket. Man what a mess who ever before me just didn't give a dame about how it all works! They had all the return springs on wrong the self adjusters was on backwards, so when you backed up they spun the adjusters in, as I was always adjusting them. Then they had the wrong axel seal in the axel housing, it was to thick and when they put the axel back in it crushed the inerseal inward, and let the grease run past the seal lip and the axel seal flang! What a bunch of jack***'.

Wish I was that far along, got the rear end painted and re***embled on my bucket. Now that I look at the pictures, the shocks need to be painted silver also. Man, I can't wait to wash this thing too.

I am doing a 4'' chop on a 47 Ford panel. I used a paint program to see if it is what I wanted to do. here is the before pic. [IMG]
Here is the look I am shooting for.[IMG]
Over the week end I got the chop tacked in and here is how it's turning out.
[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] I will be shortening the body as well. But so far looking close to what I did in paint program.

I'm doing a P.S. conversion on a non HAMB friendly ride. I THOUGHT it was gonna be a straight forward swap, of course, **** has begun to snowball out of control.

I took Friday off and man, was the weather ever great for 3 days here in Williamsburg. I took advantage of it and continued working on the interior upholstery, worked on underneath wiring for my gas gauge and elec fuel pump, and cleaned up the windshield area of my 32 (avatar); got my 40 coupe out for a bit of a shake down/first of the season run after replacing the carbs, the wife and I cleaned up the yard, I made an entry platform to my garage so I can get in without stepping in mud, had the grandchildren over for some fun, went out to dinner with friends and my Dad brought in dinner another night - all in all, a great weekend.
