I'm in the middle of swapping the 2-1/4" rusty exhaust out of my daily for a nice, 2.5" stainless one. Got the front half in today, will finish it tomorrow. All in preparation for headers.

Baby sat a sick spouce most of the time.
    Until this afternoon.
Took the trailer and brought the Grandson's Blazer home.
Dont know what is wrong yet, has good gas flow, but doesnt fire.
He has had trouble with it, but it would keep running. Then it got to dying, but would start right back up, until today.
He got about a block and half from work and it quit for good.
Think the pick up module may have went bad.
Or possibly a hole in the rotor.

i dont have any pics but my buddy sold his 27 roadster so i had room to start building my duece fiver, so i welded on the front horns mounted the firewall radiator grille shell, hung on the cowl(the body is in 4 pieces) started to put the hood on but it didnt fit! noticied some lead body work on it, someone had added !-1/2 inches to the back of it, so i cut it back off, and it fit now! then i made patterns for the subrails hung the doors and made some mounts for the bottom of the cowl and adjusted the doors to the rockers. now all i have to do is attach the roof and quartters and i might have something that looks like a duece!! ill get pics sometime

Not much done on the car, but I worked a lot on the garage.

Installed a window to let more light in.
Pulled 220 cable (for a welder) from the box to the garage.
    Added 4 more 110 outlets.
Pulled wire for four 8 foot (hard wired) shop lights.
    Pulled wire for a heater.
    Started stuffing insulation.

Boones, fill us in on the details please.

Saturday I played with my new camera, and software, taking lots of shots of Roadstars newly finished '40, and just hung out in the garage. Worked all day Sunday.

I got the rear kickup c'd and boxed on my 32 frame, then bolted the T-5 behind my 59A and set it in the frame to start on motor mounts. Maybe I will get the motor mounts in by next weekend...

Saturday I finished my Trade with Max Wedge by him bringing me his hearse and me signing away my 68 deville. Is it gay to miss a car? Then I got my mom from the airport and did the late christmas thing

Today I finished up hooking the heat in the my van, surveyed the hearse, I tried to find a carb rebuild kit for it, and only autozone was open. They're retarded. The guy was a complete asshole, and he didnt even want to bother too look the year up in his computer, because he was busy with the packer game. Then he said I should just leave after I said "you guys should just change the name to fag ricer headquarters" and told him that the guys that work there dont know they're assholes from a hole in the ground.

And then I went home and worked on the 32 grille shell, and
the back brake drums on the coupe.

    Fun weekend

picked up both front and rear ends for the bucket T today,

    in real good (cherry) shape,

the guy said they came out of a '36 Sedan Delivery

front brakes have been converted to hydrolic and the rear must be off something later 'cause it sure looks like they were always juice

  20. I spent another 5 or 6 hours in the shop priming and reinforcing my shelves, almost finished my shop make over. Watched my shop mate accidentally spill gasoline all over the beautiful laquer front fender on his 69 electraglide as he was carefully reinstalling the fuel tanks. Looked at about six shitty minivans and came down with this horrible cold. Oh yeah and I chased a "skull" around whom I'd caught breaking into a car, when I was chasing him he dropped the power amp he'd stolen but I never caught him. My neighborhood has slid into the toilet the past month or so.

Computers been down for the last 2 days so...
Shaved middle hinges off of doors.
installed top wood kit and half the body kit.
replaced the aftermarket header cap with a stocker put the visor back in.
    hung the windshield frame.
Amazing what you can get done when not sitting in front of the computer. [IMG]

It's SOOO GOOD to have some Garage Time!!!!!

Finished grinding and DA'ing my new rails for the truck till they were pretty. Then tacked em in place on the makeshift jig I made outa the original frame that they're located 5" outboard of on each side. This stuff's Heavy Duty as the New frame cannot flex like the old one was Designed to. Cut 7 of the 10 plates to make the rear torque boxes and welded 5 of them to complete the drivers side rail from front cab mounts back. Made new frame-side rear cab mounts from angle and the angle-cut drops from the torque box steel.

Went Junkyarding Saturday and got two extra windsheilds for the truck, in case I break a few of the ones I have, trying to take 3" out. Also got a whole load of other stuff for the truck and future custom projects including some Packard and Cadillac stuff.

Today I screwed off, playing wideo games till I was sick of em...

  24. Threw away 4 Rochester 2GC's cuz they were junk while trying to build just ONE!! I'm amazed how many people love helicoils and are ignorant about carb stuff. Anyway I finally got a nice one all together for my buddy's 66 El Camino. It's made up of the 4 Rochesters and not a single piece is on it from the original carb except for the base.

Also I just LOVE original GM rebuild kits. Took me back to a time in my garage where it was easy for me to imagine that it was 1961 or something. It's easier to imagine when you're in a garage that was built in 1928 and it's never been maintained [IMG]

Cut the tail panel and tool tray off the 39. Started to straighten the RR inner fender and dislocated my thumb. Thought it was broken so the wife took me to the E-room. Got in line behind all the no insurance wellfare scum with the flu and waited for 4 hours. Found it wasnt broke, gave me some Vicadin (nice) and went home and slept. Its better today, back to the garage. Got louvered inner fender panels for the front from Santa, gotta get some primer on them!
