Helped the boy fit a new rocker and inner cabcorner on his '53 GMC. Also made new rear cab mounts for my '38 Chevy pickup. Oh yeah, also moved it off the 4X4 chassis to 2wd S-10.
Replaced the worn out mastercylinder in my 62 futura with a dual reservoir MC from a 67 mustang. Works real nice.

There were a HANDFUL of posts on the HAMB last week that stated the March Meet was postponed. Always check the HAMB for the latest hot rod info. Anyway, as Beatnik stated, the weather here in the Metro Detroit area was awesome. Did some cleaning up around the house on Saturday. Got all the chores outta the way then on Sunday got treated to an AWESOME roadster ride with Roadstar. Very HOT today, 70+, I'm roasting in the office right now. Suppose to be below freezing tomorrow with the possiblity of snow.....go figure
I got the alternator rebuilt in the Merc, then put it back in - BIG pain in the arse. Damn Germans sew their shit together with more hard-to-reach bolts and every belt has a screw adjuster. I never hadda use so many extensions and universals just to put in an alternator in my life. Oh, yeah, the rebuild was just $40, I love M.A.R.S. rebuilders (DeKalb, IL) Cosmo P.S. Put on some serious mileage on the 2CV since the Merc was down.
My cousin recently remodeled her kitchen, so I layed claim to her old cabinets, and finished hanging them in my garage, which led to a bit of re-arranging.
"Rebuilt" my carb (I think I have too many parts left over! ), cleaned up my fuel pump/filter and looked up prices on a new carb "just in case." Faith in yourself is a virtue I apparently lack. Oh, yeah, and sat in the driver's seat and made vroom vroom noises. Tucker
Finished an 8" chop on a 27 T coupe, once I develop pics I'll have to figure out how to post them. Looks great.
Put a new battery and fan belt in the Vicky. Did a lot of hot rodding around in the 70 degree weather which is the point of all this work, right?
Spent 6-hours prepping and sealing my Triumph gas tank and.... got my Model A's 4-banger poppin' again after sitting for years! Good feelin'!
You're mean! took me 4 hours to get my driveway cleaned out only to have the (*&^&*^% plow come and dump a 4' high drift of wet heavy white death back in to be cleaned up
