Howzit Jack... (sssh! It's fuel injected....) Don't worry...I wont tell anyone here!.. Which system are you running? Aloha Tommy
I'm running the Holley EFI. The newer stuff. This one is plug and play TBI since the '68 340 is basically stock. 14mpg and until that photo was taken, it started up in any weather. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Put the carb spacer and Holley back on my custom 500 today,I think I let the cab sit a little too long while I found a spacer with a pcv port (4 years) and now the pump diaphram is leaking a little so I picked one up while I went out for food.
Cleaned a half barrel of really stinky mouse nest out from behind the seat of a 26 roadster. It was so totally packed I think the mice had to move out!
Got one of the pitted F-1 backing plates blasted, shot with high build primer, sanded and painted black. Started on the other one and my glass beader started acting up from the high humidity. Ran the heat gun down in the pressure pot and dried things out - time to quit.
Kinda swinging on my own nuts right now. Finally got the truck suspension dialed to lay frame. All fabbed at home, no kits. Big C-notch out back. 3" Z up front. 1 3/4" crossmember pancake. 3" cupped lower A-arms. Pie cut uppers. Next $ item is an air ride kit. Hoping for a Pomona score tomorrow!
Fixed the dog"s tie out lead..Did some putor stuff and garage roaming about trying to figure out how to arrange stuff and get the vacuum , had a nap to think about it, drew up some plans for more shelves for HF cabinets and thats about it..So not much..
Good Day!!! Top of cowl install, door hinge install, floor pan, tail lights, and license plate lamp. Walter
Hung some Christmas lights cause the wife told me that was what I was going to be doing today Look at that Cadillac
Added some anti-freeze to cabrio and cut out a door panel pattern...out in the driveway. Got pretty cold.

I decided to start on the gas tank today. Easy enough to remove the gas tank in my '48 sedan delivery and check for holes,,a few the size of a quarter,,,and nesting materials inside tank. Seems any surface rust will reveal a rust hole. Those black circles mark a pinhole. This sucks!
<--- I drove my truck around the block. Twice. 4 months and 2 weeks to disassemble down to the frame, swap cabs and build a fresh engine. Mostly in my driveway at night with hand tools. It was a great day!
Took photos for my wife's online boutique Sunday afternoon. My car, my front yard, wife's model and clothing line.
Got greasy, grimy, dirty, oily, discusted and angry working on my project while the wife stayed spotless working on her Studebaker. Think I'll just hand her tools from now on.
Spent two days on and off finding and fixing the rattles, squeaks, thumps, bangs and groans coming from underneath my coupester. It's an old build that's been consistently neglected up until now. I'm the umpteeth owner and the first, apparently, to give a s**t about this kind of stuff. Dirty, greasy and dog tired but, damn, the car sure goes down the road nice now!
I've had a bling day. Polished up these two old fire extinguishers for an old mate, and ordered and payed for a pair of stainless Guides. They going to take a while getting here. Air freight was going to cost $700 to $900!!! They on the boat, so will take at least a month. Top right light.
Worked on cab hight and wheel spacing. If anyone is in the Orlando area florida mall, I could sure use some drinking buddies and free labor. Lol One truck, one welder, endless possibilities!
Well yesterday I de-raked a '56 panhead frame, I still have to create new gussets and finish welding it up. Saturday I moved my 394 up to the garage for final assembly. Once the bike frame is gone it will get its final assembly and be **almost ready to go racin'. ** almost ready- will still need fine tuning, that happens at the track.
Yesterday, other than the work around the house you don't care to hear about, I got in some garage time and cut out rusted floor pan in my 58 Biscayne and cleaned it up to get ready to weld in the replacement pan.
took advantage of the fine weather and blasted the sedan delivery,,damn theres a lot of sheet metal on this car! got rid of the hideous paint
