75 ft to my shop too but I went out & reloaded the wood stove brought in more wood did some more sorting & cleaning Had a Beer Stayed away from the wife & got along with my self Quite well We didn;t even argue over what to do next So basically got nothing done but enjoyed a coupla of beers & dreamed .
got the last seized screw in my headlight free tonite.sprayed it with wd 40 a while ago and let it soak.worked a treat
Drove my beater truck to the junkyard today,it was just too wore out and rusty to repair this time and I never thought I would get 550 dollars junking a vehicle that was not a very large truck. Broke the snow plow that is on my lawn tractor the other day and put it back togather since they are calling for more snow tomorrow.

As stated earlier, in the Olds Rocket thread, just hauled this '56 Super 88 home, as a side job. Been sitting for over 2 years??? AND same family since new. Body is in incredible condition, as are the brakes and other mechanicals. Too bad the engine is locked up. Anywho...spent this morning cleaning and adjusting all the brakes and getting the old girl spiffed-up a bit. Even if she don't run, at least it will look good sitting in my driveway for awhile.
Nothing car related today but Friday I drove the Deuce pickup and Saturday drove the wagon to a car show /fireworks extravaganza in another town. HRP
Replaced the plastic oil line with a copper one then got started on a carb and found out I dont have much to work with oh well think I hear a beer calling.

Pulled the master cylinder from the 41 Chevy. Ordered new one from Speedway. Cut the grass, and went to evaluate a job where me and a friend are installing a heat pump.
Got the rear suspension 4 bar tacked up. I will work on the coil overs and cross member next weekend.
Put the cars aside today and had a family barbecue and driveway volleyball game. The 4th of July was a bust but the Weather Gods pulled it off for the 6th.

put a fuel pump in an import Im gonna sell, new lower ball joints and front brake shoes on the 63 Caddy and stripped some parts off of a parts car and installed them on the 56 Coupe de Ville.
