some kinda weird bottle of perfume. I know it cost me $800. I guess I could use the stopper as a hood emblem when she doesnt like it.

  3. I got mine a few gift certificates from her favorite day spa, she likes that stuff. Some expensive perfume and a gift certificate to her fav women's clothes store. That way she gets what she wants and that's that.

We did cut back a bit this year, having one kid in college and hosting Xmas day puts enough of a hole in our pockets.

Flat panel LCD tv, lots of jewelry and two bottles of Bailey's Irish Creme, Original and Caramel. Keeps her happy, and when she's happy, I'm happy.:D

  5. A cute little Maltese puppy. We had talked about getting a dog again after 17 years without one. She looked at a few and I found one and told her to go look at him. She fell in love with him on the spot! She is the happiest I've seen her because of that little dog. She didn't even complain when I went out and bought another project, a '47 Ford COE. Usually we don't buy each other Christmas presents, we just get what we want when we want something.

Here she is with her little Teddy

The new top dog of our house, I'm running a distant second now.....

    And here's my Christmas present

I'm not sure what I got her since she picked it out, she went to the store and got it, and she wrapped it. She prefers it this way as this way she knows she's getting exactly what she wants, and that it'll be the right size and color.

I'm not much of a shopper, so she has (over)compensated.

My wife and I buy stuff we need when we need it throughout the year, so Christmas presents are simple inexpensive things. This year she's getting a couple of her favorite movies on DVD, a warm fuzzy blanket to wrap up in while watching them, and a couple of little stuffed animals that she'll use for decorations under the Christmas tree in years to come. Not very exciting, but we've been doing it like this for years. :D

Same arrangement at my house several years after our girls were grown and with kids. Except this year I'm sneaking in a digital cam recorder so that she can tape the grand kids and send CDs to the relatives. I listen to her all the time trying to describe those special moments over the phone to relatives so I figured it's best that they see those special moments for themselves.

Jenny is a sucker for PJ's, candles and bubble bath. Just remember, ya get what ya pay for. $10 PJ's suck. $75 PJ's from Victoria's Secret last a long time and are guaranteed to make her happy!
Oh yeah, Cheetos and porn go a long way, too!

  19. Paid off her Grand Cherokee then installed a remote start in it. She also gets a GPS system and back up camera under the tree. Also a heated mug that plugs into the lighter to keep her tea warm on long trips.Jewellry of course but she has to hunt for it.....

damn, some crazy stuff being bought in a 'down' economy!

I made her two necklaces out of sea glass and silver wire, got her a cookbook holder and giving her some money for shoes and unmentionables...

I just took a 15% paycut to keep my job so it's a little leaner this year

We built ourselves this present last year so things are a little tight this year. She loves parking indoors in the winter.

Another years subscription to her favorite magazine...

In all honesty, we have everything we need. We just exchange small things on Christmas. The rest of the year, I buy what I want and she does the same for herself. No muss, no fuss.
You can't beat being happy and healthy...you don't have to wrap it and its always the right size. Merry Christmas to all...:)
