sunburn and a pair of hairpins
Most importantly, my Dad was in town. It's his annual pilgrimage from Utah and we got to spend a lot of time together out in the swap meet area

  6. I bought some 32 5 chrome 5 window garnish moldings on SUNDAY for $1450.00 that I think I sold on E-bay for $$2,200.00 about 7 years ago. Very soft prices this year.

I got sunburned Fri & a little ticked at the "Red Shirts", after waiting in line for 2 & 1/2 hrs & being told that we had to pay for 2 spots because we we going to take the truck & trailer in to unload the car, even though we were driving the truck & trailer out. We all agreed to unload the car in the trailer parking lot & drive the Merc in & thus only pay for one space. After unloading the Merc we returned to the gate & was told to go to end of the line again. No amount of explaining that we had been waiting in line since 9:30 & had filled out the sales tax form that they had in their posession would convince them that we were not crowding in line. We could have stayed at the motel or had lunch and showed up at 1:00 and cruized in like I did 5 yrs ago when I drove like crazy to get there & pulled in fresh off the freeway. ... I got a good deal on new Glide seats for the 3W. They were closing out the demo models & I got them for the price of new frames & foam... the upholstry was free. Thank you Rose Mary.

Hey Plywude...we made it home with the bad trans. the Grapevine sure beats up stuff. The Merc is in Sacramento if your Dr gives you the OK to spend. You look like you've got another 20 good years so go for it. Thanks for the kind words about the '40. I still can't believe I didn't leave it with new owners.

I finally found the match to my three early five spokes. $10.00 on Saturday. The money blew a hole right through my pocket and into the guys hands. I am totally stoked! Plus some A Roadster stuff for my next pile. Saw a bunch of great people too.

yep got some of those parts and a public thanks for helping a nubie with solid advice and fairly priced prats.

No gripe here but I bought a set of gauges that had been removed from the coupe, later I realized there was even the key swith included. (all of which I need) Do you perchance have the key?

Actually this mesage is posted publicly just to say thanks, and to say I like the way you do business
