  7. Well I have probably scored more than anyone else.
A few years back I found myself in a position where I was no longer able to do much for anyone, funny how all those folks that think you are better than pockets in a T shirt just go away when you can't do things for them anymore.
I've made a few new friends on here, some I only see once a year. But that doesn't take a damned thing away from the friendship.
Rather than name names I'll just say thanks you all are golden.

Ditto! Also got my large BP C4 bellhousing. Spent a lot of time searching yards and other sites, and here I got a PM right away after posting.

I scored a set of new in box aftermarket headrests from 1959. Will be used in my 56 g***er.
I also scored a 1960 olds rear with a posi!!!
I was also helped in scoring a gl*** front clip for my 56 by a fellow HAMBer, martys55, but the most important thing I've scored was like most other posts, is access to the HAMB and all the great people and ideas.
Oh yeah, still looking for a set of low back fibergl*** buckets for the g***er!!

Scored a decent '50 Chevy Styleline project from boneyardratz. Cut me a heck of a deal on it, and even loaded it for me! (Don't get much better than that!):D

The way it's turning out, my engine will be 75% HAMB parts. Just the guts will be new. I met alot of good people along the way too. Ryan should come up with some "Genuine HAMB Parts" decals. I'd buy a few.

I've learned a vast amount, been guided through a couple tech projects that were over my head at the time, met some great guys and tuned up my perspective on what is truly traditional.

Oh yeah and I've scored a few parts and p***ed parts and cars along.

I scored my '34 Five window on here. Another H.A.M.B.er and myself did some swapping. We met in Kansas. This shot is in Oklahoma on the way home.[IMG]

Purchased this baby from Tony, in Rochester. He had it for sale for a while, and just for the hell of it, I contacted him about buying it. Bought it over the phone, never even tried to get in it, much less drive it!

He even delivered it to my house. Thanks Tony. This truck is my therapy, for when I feel like saying **** it all!-MIKE:cool:
