It's not totally finished... but it's registered, has a windshield now, it runs, drives, and stops... that's good enough for me until the snow starts to fall.

about 3 years later, September 2009 (I worked 70 hours a week in 2007, traveled 330 days in 2008, about 120 in 2009, so maybe 7 or 8 months in dog years?)

I am just blown away with the creativity that is in this post. Just goes to show that guys can dream big. Very impressed with with the detail that come from a pile of rust and old grease. Way to go guys.

  30. Feb. 1996, on it's original ch***is, no engine, and the front clip is held on with baling wire...

Progress was slow, parts bought with income tax refunds, gathering tools, took welding cl***, paid off credit cards, bought a Harley in '02 then I went back to college in '03, got a degree in Dec. '06...

    8-16-07 - This is a second ch***is I built up.

The rest of the build log from this point to now is here

A couple of weeks ago... Billetproof drags... driven to (60+ miles), ran down the track multiple times (9.8@74 in the 1/8 best time), then driven home.

Never done, but this weekend it's getting a trailer hitch put on it... to drag a camper to Daytona.
