Nothing, the gal at the agency had seen me driving around town and said..."You're a good driver" and she just gave me a license.

Thing was a piece of crap, you had to have it to the floor to hit 60 by the end of the on ramp.

OH! and I got a 0 on my driving test (equivalent to 100% in NH, not sure how that works in other places)

 

yellow 1966 ford falcon, torque thrust, hipo 289 with a bit of cam and a top loader..with headers..The DPS officer was not pleased ..but they never were.

 

1968 Plymouth Fury III station wagon. Commando 383, auto, fake wood grain down the sides, BIG back seats - a real "chick magnet" !

 

My best friends two door 64 Ford Galaxy, triple black, all options...one of the nicest 64 Galaxies I've ever seen. It was 7 years old when he got it, we did nothing but work on it the whole time, it wouldn't run more than a week without something breaking.

I took my motorcycle test the same day on my 69 Honda CB350.

 

I seriuosly don't remember.that would be back in 1966,we had a 63 caddy,60 chevy truck &camper,49 willys jeep,56 chevy,49 chevy coupe.I don't remember.sucks gett'in old

 

That's easy, a friends borrowed 29 Model A 2dr. all stock. I did hand signals because there wasn't any.

 

Oh and that was in 1977.

 

I drove a '55 Oldsmobile in 1989.

 

The clutch was out in dad's 74' Vega wagon, so I used my grand dad's 70' Chrysler Newport land yacht. That thing had the most sensitive power brakes in it. Almost put the State Trooper through the wind shield!

military.... I pissed off the motor pool gunny sargent and he made me drive everything in the yard to get a 5 ton license.... 1/4 ton truck (Jeep),
3/4 ton personell carrier, 2 1/2 ton truck, and 5 ton truck..

 

My Dad bought the local dealers demo car- '68 Caprice 4 door hardtop with a 396 and about every available option including a built in 8 track!

 

My moms 1964 1/2 mustang coupe...november 1970

 

94 caravan! Laugh but itd smoke the tires if you neutral drip it!

1949 Ford which was also my first car and after driving it a few months decided I better get a license--

 

Took my drivers test in my granny's 54 Bel Air two door post car. I'd already been driving for four years so it was a snap.

 

My father's 1968 Chrysler 300 convertible and I had to park between two cars and in the middle a big tree was overhanging the curb but I passed.

1955, ...4 wheels...My dad's 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan 4 door......no problems.

About 1969 or '70.....18 wheels....Got 'grandfathered-in'...by this time I'd already been selling 18-wheelers for a living for 7-years.....didn't have to take the test...a guy I worked with was an instructor/examiner.....he signed off for me. Took the written test every 4 years for the next 32-years. no problems.

About 1970....2 wheels....650 Triumph Bonneville.....no problems.
