The sleeve tube that ties the two tubes together(from inner fender to the firewall).
Mine was so far gone but it looks like yellow house insulation was the "gasket". Was it? What did you use?

The one's in your link lasted about 6 months in my '54 and rotted apart from Dennis Carpenter who furnishes most vendors with those, some folks have made them from Motorcycle inner tubes which are 3X thicker, diameter on the those ducts are 4" same as dryer duct.

I made mine from a 3/8 inch thick camp roll. The material is closed cell foam rubber so will not absorb water. I made two tubes by cutting pieces and gluing with contact adhesive. One outer and one inner tube. I indexed the joins 180 degrees apart. Perfect fit and correct thickness to re se the sheetmetal cover. Works great. You can even get a choice of colours.
    My two cents gents.

Guess that must be the difference between the fancy models and my lowly business coupe, I get cheesy rubber parts and you guys get fancy insulated metal parts. :p

Gents I believe the original material is horse hair (pubic) and i struggled to find a suitable supplier.Certainly when it gets wet it smells like damp dog!
Certainly with my (alternative+ air+vent+fix) post using silicon and the closed cell foam the air vent system works great and seals completely.

After reading this ^^^^, I'll be in search of some camp roll to convert mine over.
