I have been helping my buddy clean out his father-in-law's old shop. Among all my new treasures is this engine/trans. adapter, a lower half of a bell housing, and another bell housing. I recognize the aluminum adapter as early Ford on the trans. side, but I'm not sure of the engine side. It has no markings on it. It is 4 3/8" deep. I dont recognize the other 2 iron housings either. The lower half housing has 558709 cast on it. The complete iron bell has 555649-2 cast on it. I know that you guys can tell what these fit. If any of you need one of these, P.M. me.

    Thanks, Charlie

  2. That cast iron looks kind of Oldsmobile-ish. The alum one appears to adapt something to a Ford trans. Does the alum one match the bellhousing bolt pattern of the cast iron one?
