yes its bagged raises bout 6 in

  4. I'm with Chy on this one, I could never understand the laying it on the ground bit either. What is the sense of it? Could someone please explain that to an older guy?
I'm not knocking it, whatever floats your boat, it is your boat after all. Just wondering. Cars and trucks sit on wheels and tires, only junkers sit on frames, rocker panels and cinder blocks. At least that's what life has shown me.

This in no way is a put down on your truck. I guess, just the whole bag thing.

  17. I'm a little older than I was before. Suffice to say that I'm a '60s kid.

I suppose of you have to explain "why" then the words would be lost, a lot like dust in the wind. I personally do the things I do because I can.

The truck definately isn't my style. Not to say I don't like it, I like custom Mercs too, I'm just not interested in owning one.

3 months, damn. In the words of Maynerd Krebs "Work, Work!!!"

Anyway looks alright to me. When I joined the HAMB I was building a channeled sectioned '53 F 100. Wasn't bagged so it set the way it rolled. Real cartoony kinda like a ProMod car.

looks like a good solid truck, though laying frame seems a bit silly to me. I must be an old fart.

nothing wrong with that. I think thats where the phrase lay'in frame came from.

Got to roll with the crowd on this one - not big on the laying on the ground at all for any car speaking just for myself. But, that is a great looking truck otherwise and think you've done a good job with the proportions on the chop, etc. I am not big on patina either unless it is a work truck, again, speaking for myself. Will look way better in my option with a good finished shiny paint job and nice interior too. But, off to a great start with this one. I also am not too big on SBC's and especially 350's, but hey it actually is a Chevy and has a hood, so probably not a bad choice for it actually.

Think it looks great the way it is. Build it to please yourself, or you'll never be happy with it. Conformity is overated.

Looks broken, thats all I can think when I see one slammed all the way down on the pavement like this.

Kinda like a roadster that has 8" of z between the firewall and grill shell. Shit just looks broken to me. Some guys love it, others don't. Guess thats what makes the hobby great. Oh, and for the record. I would be considered on the younger end of the spectrum, so age has nothing to do with my opinion on this one.
