I'm running six bolt wheels so the spider caps are out. I plan on a 235/T5 upgrade, but other than that I really like the idea of a mildly rodded stock truck. Thats actually why i ditched my original plans for whitewalls and trim rings. In 53 I'm fairly certain WWW's on a truck would have been completely out of place. (so would lowered, but we wont tell)

I'm getting rid of the slots for sure. I may take some heat on this, but I've never liked them.

Looks great either way....oddly enough, I LOVE the first pic, though! I think it looks great sitting like a truck.
    Cool either way...

Honestly, A tad too low for true function. It looks absolutely killer, looks fantastic. Unfortunately looks and function are a hard tonic. That's why I just ordered a new set of 2" taller spindles. Way cheaper than putting a new exhaust on it every 30 feet. A minimum of 4" to the bottom of anything up front is what I have stubbornly found to be a minimum.
But yeah aside from that it looks tight.

  17. You Asked..I think it ****s.Maybe if you chopped the top also to kinda balance it out..But then IMHO it would still ****.

Not that I cant take others opinions, but I do prefer them constructive. Why do you feel that it ****s?

Harsh....I find that if I put a soothing Tucks pad in there that the discomfort usually goes away and I can sit without pain.:D

I hear ya on the too low thing. I had a 71 c10 that the front bumper would touch a tomato juice can on its side. Looked amazing. Drove like ****. I'm putting a 4" drop axle on it and we'll see where that puts me. May pull a few springs, but I want it functional. I plan to get it to the same height as most compact cars on the road today. They get by so it should too at that height. I do want the slightest amount of rake like in the chop.

Love the look in the second photo. The idea of a 6 with a T-5 is great too.

wow, really? well i guess no matter where you go, or where you are, what you do, or how you do it, your always gonna get a worthless opinion, like it or not. so with that, i really dig it, so there's mine.

Man..... I was just messin around in photoshop when I put this together. But every time I look at it I get more and more excited about this truck. I just love the stock but lowered look. I always said I thought these trucks were "born" perfect. Now I'm sure of it.
