I drive to Waylon Jennings, and other music of that ilk - cannot STAND "modern" country music, but anything with a simple beat - old R&R...any C&W that isn't too slow and whiny

"is that a pistol in your pocket?....or are you...."

  6. 60's downloads from the internet. NOT the top whatever from the oldies station. I love 60's rock or motown and everything in between. But the local oldies stations around here are convinced the Doors ONLY did Light My Fire, and the Stones ONLY did Satisfaction. Good songs, but played to ****ing death. I dig **** like Pictures of Matchstick Men, Black is Black, Lil Red Riding Hood, Tell Him (Patty Drew i think), etc. But, keep in mind i'm 151 yrs old. Then it goes to Foghat, Ozzie, Molly Hatchet, Lynard Skynard, and on and on

Ditto. Especially if I'm on a road trip I like being able to hear what noises the car is making. I've never owned a car I felt confident enough in, not to pay close attention to the power train, suspension, etc

radio is not working well in the Plymouth, so listen to the road, squeeks, and other noises from the car. My daily, (PT Cruiser) I have some Wall of Voodoo right now.
